Mr/Ms UNIVERSE 2019

The Mr/Ms Universe 2019 will take place in the beautiful seaside city of Acapulco (Mexico) and will see the participation of amateur and professional athletes from around the World. It is going to be an epic event!
1. Venue:
The competition will take place at the CENTRO DE CONVENCIONES COPACABANA – Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán (414,94 km) Acapulco de Juárez, Gro
2. Hotel:
The official hotel is the Hotel Emporio Acapulco – Av Costera Miguel Alemán 121, Fracc Magallanes, Magallanes, 39670 Acapulco de Juárez, Gro., Mexico
3. Respect for hotel infrastructure:
All compettors should take great care not to damage the hotel property, in particular blankets and towels. Any damage will be charged to the person who caused it. Thank you for your understanding.
4. Arrival and departure:
The nearest and most convenient airport is the ACAPULCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, which is a few km from the city. Details of the transport system will be available soon.
5. Schedule of the event (THE DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE):
- Friday 8th NOVEMBER
- 3 pm: Athletes arrival and check in.
- Saturday 9th NOVEMBER
- 4 pm – 8 pm: Teams registration (at hotel Emporio Acapulco).
- 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm: International judges mandatory training course.
- Sunday 10th NOVEMBER
- 10 am: Beginning of the Competition.
- Monday 11th NOVEMBER
- 10am: Teams departure and Presidents meeting.
6. Companions/photographers/other team members:
The cost for the Visitor package is € 270 and includes 3 nights of accomodation in the official hotel (breakfast and final gala dinner included) and the VIP ticket (value of €80) for full access (also backstage).
7. Climate:
In Acapulco the climate is subtropical and warm, therefore the average temperatures will range from 21 to 32 degrees Celsius.
8. Language and currency:
Spanish (English is spoken), Mexican Peso.
9. Categories:
WABBA INTERNATIONAL categories will be judged onstage.
10. Tanning service:
A professional tanning service will be available on-site and WABBA INTERNATIONAL highly recommends all athletes to use it. The professional tanning guarantees uniformity in the colouring and a perfect look onstage. The cost of the tanning service is:
